Pre-match or Live Bet

When placing bets, you can choose between Pre-match and Live bets. Here’s how they differ:

💠 Pre-match Bets

  • Placed before the match or event starts.

  • Odds are fixed at the time you place your bet.

💠 Live Bets

  • Placed while the match is in progress.

  • Odds change in real-time based on the live action.

🏈 What Are Betting Markets? (Sports)

A market is just the type of bet you choose when betting on a match or event.
Think of it as what exactly you’re betting on, not just who wins.

Here are the most common market types, explained simply:

💠 Match Result (1X2) – You’re betting on whether Team 1 wins, it’s a draw, or Team 2 wins.

💠 Over / Under (Totals) – You’re betting on whether the total number of goals, points, or runs will be over or under a set number.

💠 Handicap Betting – One team gets a virtual advantage or disadvantage to make the match more balanced for betting.

💠 Both Teams to Score (BTTS) – You’re betting on whether both teams will score at least once.

💠 Correct Score – You try to predict the exact final score of the match.

💠 Double Chance – You cover two outcomes instead of one, making the bet safer (for example: win or draw).

💠 Draw No Bet – If the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded.

💠 Outrights (Futures) – Long-term bets on things like who will win a league or tournament, placed before or during the season.

👾 What Are Maps? (eSports)

In eSports, a map is basically one round or game played inside a match. While it’s the virtual arena where teams compete, in betting terms, it works like a single game within a series - similar to a set in tennis.

Because matches are often played across multiple maps, each map can be bet on separately, giving you more betting options.

Here are some common map markets:

💠 1st / 2nd / 3rd Map Winner – Choose which team will win a specific map.
💠 1st / 2nd / 3rd Map Match Result (1X2) – Bet on whether Team 1 wins, it’s a draw, or Team 2 wins on that map.
💠 1st / 2nd / 3rd Map Total Rounds – Bet on how many rounds will be played on a specific map.

There can be many more map-related markets, depending on the game and the match format, giving you plenty of ways to place bets beyond just the overall match winner.

E-Sports Prop bets are bets on specific events within a game that aren’t directly related to the final outcome. These focus on in-game events and player performance in virtual settings.

For example, betting on how many kills a player will get in a match, how many rounds a team will win, or which player will get the first elimination.

What is Handicap?

Handicap betting is a way to even the playing field when one team is stronger than the other.

🎯 In simple terms:
It gives one team a head start or a disadvantage before the match starts.
Your bet isn’t just on who wins - it’s on who wins after the handicap is applied.

Types of Handicaps

Handicaps vary depending on the sport:

💠 European Handicap – Commonly used in football (soccer).
💠 Asian Handicap – Also popular in football, but similar concepts (like spreads or lines) are used in other sports.

🔑 Key Difference: European Handicap includes the possibility of a draw (three-way betting), whereas Asian Handicap eliminates the draw (two-way betting).

Example: Betting on Over 2.5 means you win if the match ends with 3 or more goals/points/runs.

Examples:

🔹 Over 1.5 Points
✅ Win if the match ends with 2 or more points (e.g., 1-1, 2-0, 3-1)
❌ Lose if the match ends with 1 point or less (e.g., 1-0, 0-0)
