Community Chat: Rules and Rain - How Does It Work?

Updated yesterday

Community Chat Rules & Access

The Gamdom Community Chat is a space to connect with other players, share experiences, and have fun! To keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone, all users must follow the rules and meet the access requirements.

Chat Rules:

  1. Avoid Solicitation: Do not promote or advertise other services in the chat. Refrain from asking for tips, begging, or soliciting money.

  2. Respectful Conduct: Treat other users with respect and maintain a positive environment. Harassment, offensive language, spamming, or any disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  3. No Link Posting: For security reasons, do not share or post links. Violating this rule may result in a permanent mute from the chat.

How to Access the Chat:

  • Email Verification: All users must verify their email to access the chatroom. If your email is verified but you still cannot chat, try refreshing the page or logging out and back in - this usually resolves the issue.

Level Requirements:

  • Level 5+ → Access to language-specific chats

  • Level 20+ → Access to the English chat

  • Below Level 5 → Can only chat in the newcomers’ chat

💎 VIP Indicator: VIP users will have a Gemstone or Diamond icon displayed next to their name in chat.

How to Change Your Chat Tag

Once you reach (Emerald 1), you can request an updated chat tag to showcase your progress and status in the community.

To update your tag, simply submit a request via live support or email support@gamdom.com, and our team will take care of it.

Chat Tag Guidelines

When requesting a new chat tag or changing an existing one, please make sure it follows the guidelines:

  • Tags must not include offensive language or promote other businesses.

🏷️ Tags can be updated from time to time, but not too frequently, to maintain consistency in the community.

Tipping Feature

Tipping is our feature that lets you send money between Gamdom accounts.

To tip someone, simply click their username in the community chat and select “Tip User” 💸.

Heads up: Tips are not refundable, so double-check that you’re sending it to the right person! 👀

Mute Policy

Moderators can mute users who violate chat rules. A mute means you won’t be able to chat for a set period, determined by the severity of the issue and any previous rule violations.

To avoid being muted, keep conversations friendly and respectful.

Unmute Requests:
If the mute was valid, it will stay in place for the full duration assigned by the moderator. In some cases, the reason for the mute can be reviewed, and the mute may be lifted - but this is not always guaranteed.

Reporting Disruptions in Chat

If a user is being disruptive, toxic, or using abusive language, you can report them via live support.

However, it’s often easiest to use the “Ignore” feature if someone is being disrespectful toward you. Our moderator team will review reports and mute users as needed to keep the chat safe and friendly.
